The Board
In 2020, the board of the POMGen hospital was set up as a charitable entity to raise funds for the Hospital. As the principal fundraising arm of the POMGen, The Foundation has facilitated gifts in excess of $2 million since its inception.

Chairman
Peter Graham, CBE
Peter Graham – reappointed Chairman and Acting Managing Director of Kumul Minerals Holding Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Education (Honors) in Chemistry from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
With a wealth of experience in the mining and oil and gas sectors with Exxon Mobil Corporation, he led mining companies and in Australia and the US through executive management roles. Mr. Graham also had engineering/technical management roles which overseed mining operations in the US, Colombia, Chile and Australia.

Deputy Chairwoman
Kathy Johnston, CBE, MBE
Owner/proprietor of House of Gemini. Ms Johnston has 43 years of successful experience providing strategic and operational leadership in uniquely challenging situations in Papua New Guinea.
Ms Johnston was awarded the Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) and a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her commitment to several Charity Organizations, Foundations and Developments in Papua New Guinea since 1981, including; Operation Open Heart, City Mission, PNG Red Cross Society, Sir Buri Heart
Institute, Miss Pacific Island Pageant, Eda Mauri Foundation and Ginigoada Bisnis Development Foundation Inc.
She is currently a Board Member for City Mission Papua New Guinea and Ginigoada Bisnis Development Foundation Inc.

Dr. Paki Molumi
Dr Paki Molumi was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Port Moresby General Hospital on Sunday September 1st 2019. Dr Molumi is originally from Mendi, Southern Highlands Province holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, post graduate qualifications as a specialist Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon and a Masters in Business Administration.
He has with him 20 years of experience as a clinician and also lectures at the University of PNG, School of Medicine and Health Sciences. In the hospital he was appointed to the senior role as the coordinator for ENT services and also as the Director for Medical Services and then as the former acting CEO to his appointment.

Luke Liria
Luke Liria - Executive GM for Corporate Services at the National Oil Company of PNG (Kumul Petroleum Group). He holds a Bachelor and Diploma in Business and MBA Candidate with the Australian Institute of Business.
Mr. Liria has been an Oil & Gas professional since 1990 with experiences from’ Bechtel, Chevron and Oil Search.
He is also a Competent Communicator (CTM) with Toastmasters International and a Certified Associate Project Management Professional (CPAM) with the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Since 2018, he has been the Chairman of the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) PNGUT.

Michael Wilson
Michael Wilson is a member of the Port Moresby General Hospital Board (PMGH).
He is the Coordinator for the Department of Physiotherapy Services at PMGH.
Mr. Wilson is also the Chief Physiotherapist in Papua New Guinea and has served on the Medical Board for many years. He is also the founding president of the Allied Workers Union in PNG.

Reuben Akia
Reuben Akia holds a Master’s Degree (MA) in Pastoral Ministry Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Theology from the Pacific Adventist University (PAU). He also hold a Diploma in Dental Therapy from the UPNG Medical Faculty Dental School.
Mr. Akia is the former Chief Executive officer (CEO) at the National Youth Development Authority (NYDA). Throughout the years, Mr. Akia’s professions were in Church Ministry, Security Management, Bank Management but mostly Community Service.
